Hannah Arendt

Hannah Arendt

born 14 oct 1906 / died 4 dec 1975

the catch 1 :
i value mostly her idea of 'townships' as a basis for political organisation of states,
which she adopted & developed from the early democratic organisation of the pre US

the catch 2 :
most known for the formulation 'the banality of evil' which caused an uproar by those,
who didn't understood the opportunity in it & saw just the dangers

the catch 3 :
there are surely not many female philosophers, Hannah Arendt was one
her philosophy is social & political & she disliked to be called a 'philosopher', but prefered to be a 'political theorist'
